Mining Bee

Chat GPT suggests this is a Chocolate Mining Bee which is a solitary bee.  AI justifies the decision explaining that 'It’s a solitary bee found in Ireland, and it fits the combination of a dark abdomen, brownish/golden hairy thorax, and pollen carried on the hind legs. The species is specifically recorded among Irish garden bees'.  It was taken in my garden but on pyracantha.

I was experimenting with the use of flash with a new diffuser in my garden.  I had my 100 mm macro lens on my Canon R5ii along with the Canon speedlight.  I used a shutter speed of 1/200 sec. an aperture of f/11 and ISO 200.  Unfortunately I can't remember the power I set the flash to.
