Lyla

This is one of my favourite shots from Lyla's Birthday celebration last weekend.  I like to try take low level shots of pets and get a less threatening perspective.  I converted this image to mono because the light was artificial looking and the light wooden press behind Lyla was dominating the image.

I has the 70-200 mm lens at 70 mm and an open aperture of f/2.5.  The room was dark as there is little natural light so ISO was 2000 and I had to use a shutter speed of 1/250 sec. which I got away with because she was resting.
