Ice Queen

I was certainly feeling blue during this performance.  I found it extremely difficult to focus on the performer with the constantly moving laser lights and a fairly dark circus ring.  When taking photos and making decisions on settings I usually consider what is the least important for the particular shot and that will be the setting I sacrifice.  Usually with me it will be iso, and one of the reasons I tend to use auto ISO a lot.  But in this shot, I had to shoot wide open (f/2.8) but felt I needed a slightly higher f number.  I opted for a shutter speed of 1/100 sec hoping that it was adequate as here arms were not moving too fast but this meant that I needed an iso of 6400 which I was uncomfortable with on the R5ii which I feel doesn't handle noise as well as my R6.  I wasn't really happy with any of the shots in the sequence but you can view the ones I used to form my panel at SnappyTimes
