Flying High

Continuing on from my previous post, I needed to do a mono conversion to get an entry for the mono print component of the league.  Thankfully, this image scored the highest of all my circus images with a 17/20.  While preparing it for the competition I edited out all the lights creating a more minimalist background (something the judges seem to require).

Settings wise - I used a shutter speed of 1/1000 with an open aperture of f/2.8 and ISO 2500.  The 70-200 mm lens was zoomed to 135mm, which was mounted on my Canon R5ii.
