Juvenile Bullfinch

It has been a while since I took photos of my garden birds.  The arrival of this lovely juvenile bullfinch encouraged me to take out the camera and grab the long lens. The juvenile looks somewhat like the female but doesn't have the black cap.  The wings and tail are black which some peach orange colour in the wings.  The back and head are brown in colour with a lighter underbelly which seems to have a peach hue.  The male and female were close by the youngster.

I used my 100-500mm lens zoomed to 500mm which gave me an open aperture of f/7.1.  I used a shutter speed of 1/500 sec. and auto ISO resulted in an ISO of 1250.  I had set exposure to -0.7.  The photo was taken handheld through the kitchen window.
