This photo was taken while on a trip to the National Botanic Gardens in Glasnevin with Liz.  I was using my EF 100-400 lens with the 1.4 extender and the adapter.  The reason for the EF lens over the RF 100-500 lens was that it has a closer minimum focus distance and I wanted to take low level flower shots and felt a long zoom might give me a nicer bokken with more of the flower in focus. The pretty bunch of buds on the tree caught my eye and I decided to try get a shot of it.  I used 1/1000 sec, shutter speed as it was a heavy zoom lens and I have seen it advised to double the mm on the lens for shutter speed.  I used an open aperture of  f/8 (the higher open aperture is due to the 1.4 extender) and auto ISO set ISO at 800.  I chose the shot to feature because I liked the colour tones in the image.

It was an enjoyable trip to the gardens and we tried multiple exposure shots as a form of ICM but I had nothing worth showing.  The scones in the coffee shop after the shoot were delicious.
