A festive Old Dublin Scene

The iconic Guinness Gates is favored by many photographers in Dublin with the cobble lock and disused railway tracks providing additional features of old Dublin.  It was on my wish list for a long time and I particularly wanted to see the Christmas Lights glowing above the gates.  Unfortunately the lights were not lighting on mu first time visit, early one Sunday morning before sunrise just before Christmas.  This shot was taken a few days later on the 19th of December.  I concentrated on getting the starbursts on the lights and wanted a low to the ground shot so didn't make a feature of the railway track in this particular image.
My Canon R6, with the 24-105 mm lens set at 24mm, was on my trusted lightweight Peak Design tripod.  I used an aperture of f/16 and ISO was set to 200.  This resulted in an exposure time of 10 seconds. In post processing, I had to significantly alter the shadows and highlights as well as increase the exposure (didn't get it quite right).  I also cloned out the road sign and the bill board on the wall.

A portrait shot featuring the railway track for a different composition.
Additionally I had to clone out a large manhole!
