I spotted this wee gosling with it's parents parents along The Grand Union Canal bank as we walked towards Stoker's Lake while visiting friends in London. I think goslings are cute and have been wanting to photograph them for awhile, so was delighted when this one appeared.
I had my 100-500 mm RF lens on my Canon R6 and chose an open aperture of f/7.1 and a shutter speed of 1/1000 sec. I like to start with these settings as many animals and birds will be moving and the open aperture although high at f/7.1 helps blur the background. ISO was 5000.
