This photo was taken with my Canon R6 and the 100-500 RF lens while walking along the beach at Sandymount. The settings for the photo was a shutter speed was 1/500 sec. with an aperture of f7.1 and auto ISO resulted in 1600.
The sky was not conducive to a good sunrise shot so I put on my long zoom lens and walked along the beach at Sandymount and the Shellybanks. As I progressed through the walk, I started to notice a mixture of shells and rubbish along the beach. So I decided to take shots of both and document the effect man has on our beautiful landscape. The end product was the panel of images (Beauty and the Beast) below. The first image on the top left shows the sky at sunrise, and moving across the top row you can see the birds, shells and even an octopus (hopefully the tide on its way in helped it along its way) and ending with the new incinerator a beast indeed. The bottom row documents an array of rubbish blighting our beautiful coastline, ironically right beside the incinerator!
