This photo was taken on a journey over Sally Gap after going on to a Photo Walkabout at Cloughlea. The misty weather provided an atmospheric air and the trees framed the other trees in the misty distance. It was a very difficult shot to take and it did not do the scene justice.
The shot was taken handheld with a shutter speed of 1/80 of sec. and an aperture of f11 and an ISO of 125. I set - 1 compensation as the full clouded sky provided too much contrast to the trees. The image was cropped from a shot taken at 70mm on my 24-70mm EF lens. It was a quick grab shot as we just pulled over looking at the mist.
This shot was at 35mm (1/80 sec. f10 and ISO125 with -0.3 exposure)
