I was delighted to see what was hanging about on my washing line today. This Long Tailed Tit is a rare visitor to my garden and a very difficult to photograph as they are very fast and generally linger in bushes or trees. This shot was taken through my kitchen window with my typical settings, a shutter speed of 1/1000 and an open aperture of f8 and auto ISO was 3200. The lens was zoomed to max 560 mm with the 1.4 extender on my 100-400 EF lens.
