Taking photos in the snow can be a challenge, not just because of the cold. The white of the snow can cause blown highlights and loss of detail which may ruin an image. To get around this I often set an exposure compensation of up to minus 1. The blue tit wasn't upset by the cold or the snow flakes falling around it. It waited patiently for space on the feeder so it could grab a sunflower heart .
For this image the shutter speed was set at 1/800 with an aperture of f8 and ISO of 1000.
