This festive photo of Nova was taken in the lead-up to Christmas celebrating her first Christmas in our home. It was a difficult shot to take because she was indoors and I wouldn't use a flash because I didn't want to stress her. Due to the challenging lighting situation I decided to use a a shutter speed set to 1/160 sec. This was about as slow as I was prepared to go as Nova constantly moves, especially her face and whiskers. As I was using my Canon180mm EF macro lens on Canon R6 an open aperture of f3.5 resulted in an auto ISO at 8000.
HAPPY CHRISTMAS
