This shot was taken while having a walk along the Dodder banks on St. Stephen's Day. The Balrothery Weir has a spectacular waterfall that is difficult to fit in the frame of a standard zoom lens. This shot was taken at 22mm on my 14-35mm RF lens. I used a tripod so I could use a slow shutter speed ( 1/5 sec.) and my aperture was f14. I fixed my ISO at 100.
The Balrothery Weir is well know to those who walk in Dodder Valley Park. It is also know as City Weir. The weir was built prior to 1244 but was decided to use it to divert the Dodder to supplement what the Poddle was supplying as the city was growing.
