I had the joy of attending and recording the fantastic Ukrainian
Irish Carol Service and Ceremony of Peace at the Church of Our Lady Queen of
Peace in Oldtown today (4th of December).
It was a very poignant service organised by the Dublin Branch of
Chernobyl Children International (CCI).
Following the service, I was on duty as Santa’s photographer taking snaps
of the children getting selection boxes as they visited his ‘grotto’ with their
delighted families. There was also a
live crib and refreshments for the kiddies to enjoy.
I have included 60 second a video clips of the last two songs ‘From A Distance’ sung by the Irish Choir and the Ukrainian National Anthem sung by the Ukrainian choir.
