It is always a challenge to take photographs of white birds and it is useful to under-expose the shot. In this shot I had set the shutter speed to 1/4000 sec. because the goose was moving fast on the lake. Because I was using my 1.4 extender on my 100-400mm EF lens an open aperture was f8 and this resulted in an auto ISO of 1000. The photograph was taken in Tymon Park on the 'northern' lake during an afternoon walk with a photography club mate.
