Lough Boora Discovery Park can cater for people with different interests. The old trains and railway lines capture the attention of the transport entusiast while the sculptures cater for the artistic visitor. There a number of walking routes along with a fairy trail for the younger vistitors. The Irish Wildlife Trust also maintain the nature area.
I went to Lough Borra with two photography friends in search of birds so this photo was taken with my 100-400mm EF lens on the Canon R6! Because of the image stabilisation in the R6 I was able to use a shutter of 1/320. I chose an aperature of f11 to try get as much of the scene in focus and ISO was 400. the main problem on this trip was dealing with harsh light and shadows.
