The Dark Hedges in Ballymoney in Northern Ireland consists of beech trees planted in the 18th century. It is magnificant and well photographed location which became famous worldwide when it featured in the Game of Thrones.
This is not the usual Dark Hedges composition. I was struggling, there was another photographer at the far end with his car lights affecting our efforts at getting a shot. Then he arrived our end and just stood in front of us. I noticed the large puddle and thought it might give a reflection. Using a borrowed tripod I grabbed this shot. With a landscape in mind I had the aperture of f11 and iso 100. The shutter was set at 1 sec. The 14-35 lens was zoomed to 35mm.
