A simple shot taken in my local park. I was actually out walking looking for swans and ducks to take pictures of when I stopped beside a wildflower bed. At first I was looking at the bees but the poppy caught my eye. The equipment for this shot, and the settings, are not what one would normally choose. As I said, I was looking for birds so I had my 100-400mm lens plus my 1.4 extender on my Canon R6via an adapter. The settings were my standard wildlife starting point - 1/1000 sec. shutter and an open aperture (f8 due to the extender) and auto iso resluted in an iso of 6400. The shot was taken with lens zoomed to 560mm.
