An early Sunday morning walk in the local park
rewarded me with the amazing experience of witnessing these two swans
mating. I was originally taking a photo of a cormorant when something to
the left caught my attention. I swung the camera around and could see two
swans moving. I automatically clicked the shutter on the camera and took
a few shots. It was only afterwards when I got home that I realised I had
a sequence of shots of the pair mating. The photo is one of my
favourites, as the heart shape of the necks seemed so apt.
I hadn't really got time to adjust setting on the camera, so I ended up with 1/1000, f7.1 and ISO 250.
